During the activity weekend on 08 & 09 September I made 24 QSO's and added an initial with K1RQG, increasing my standings to... 156 Initials, 30 DXCC Countries, 6 Continents, 23 US States, 25 Large Grid Squares & 119 Small Grid Squares.
After the Saturday session, I had to tilt the dish over to renew the poly bag covering the feed & preamp as it had been shredded by the wind. On completion, I checked the calibration of my tracking system and checked the sun noise... 21dB for a solar flux of 140.
Conditions were good over the whole weekend, and I was able to hear my echoes with only 10 watts most of the time.

ARI - Italian EME Contest
Activity was very low compared with last year. I made 20 QSO's including 3 Italian stations. I guess the events in the USA had some influence on everyone and maybe caused some to stay away.
Last year, I succeeded in winning the ARI EME contest... to my surprise. Take a look at the superb plaques that the ARI present to the leading contest stations.
Conditions were mainly good and my echoes peaked S7 at times.
No new contacts were made, so my standings remain as listed at the top of this page.
